A Smart Twist on Burglary Deterrence

This one caught my eye - FakeTV. This little box shows a series of random lights in a dark room to simulate a TV broadcast when you're not home. Starts at dusk, turns off at dawn. Much smarter and more effective than plain old lamp timers.

Probably more interesting to watch than most of the stuff that's on.

At $40 it seems like a pretty good deal. Invented in Minnesota and sold here.
