I'm slumped into a comfy chair here at Bradley Airport in Hartford, on my way back home from my friend's wedding.
The good news is the WiFi is free. The bad news is that I arrived really early to see if I could get onto one of the several flights back to Seattle on Southwest that leaves earlier than my 2:30pm departure.
It's bad news because it turns out, inexplicably, that you can't do standby on Southwest if you have a Southwest Rapid Rewards ticket. It doesn't matter if the plane is completely empty. They will not let you on an earlier flight.
In the words of Fake Steve Jobs - "frigtards."
At least they gave me the number of the customer service center. Of course, they're closed.
Good old Southwest.
Despite Southwest, I hope your experience at BDL was good. The place has been totally redone recently, and as a local I can say it's a much more pleasant place to fly out of now than it was a few years ago.
