We finally had new carpet installed downstairs in the family room, kid's bedrooms, etc. I will finish out the office and laundry room with wood flooring (I will try it myself from IKEA - no glue?).
Unfortunately the installers removed the coax cable I had running from the outside wall under the carpet to the TV corner. That drove my cable modem, router and Media Center PC. I won't rip up the carpet to re-run it but I'll use some super thin coax and just run it around the doorway.
Oh well.
